29 People Taken into Custody for Tweeting



After prime minister Erdogan had called the social media as the "worst menace of society" on sunday, on tuesday the Turkish police took 29 people into custody, all of them between 20-25 years of age, because they allegedly "incited the people to enmity and hate."
Some of the tweets that are accused of provoking people are:
"Some WiFi passwords for the use of resistence.."
"There are policemen in Lozan Place and on Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street, do not go there."
"They threw gas bombs to Gündoğdu Square, do not go there."
"Our police should do what is proper, that is establish peace."
"Here are some doctors' phone numbers, please spread."
